Job Summary
The Multi-Care Technician II plays a vital role in delivering direct patient care within a healthcare setting. This position encompasses providing support for personal hygiene, monitoring vital signs, and assisting patients with their daily living activities. The technician also conducts EKGs, observes telemetry, and ensures that the unit remains clean, all while operating under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and support with hygiene needs.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs.
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Perform EKGs and engage in telemetry monitoring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the unit.
- Work under the supervision of an RN.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Medical Assistant, or EMT program, or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a valid CNA, CMA, or EMT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory.
