Job Summary
The Multi-Care Technician II plays a vital role in providing direct patient care, encompassing support for hygiene, monitoring vital signs, and aiding with daily living activities. This position not only focuses on patient interaction but also includes responsibilities such as performing EKGs, overseeing telemetry monitoring, and ensuring the cleanliness of the unit, all under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including assistance with hygiene and daily living activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately.
- Perform EKG procedures and engage in telemetry monitoring.
- Maintain a clean and organized unit environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or be actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in patient care within a hospital setting is essential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
