Job Summary
The Emergency Medicine Department is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our team in the SWWI region based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This position will involve working closely with medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience in emergency medicine or a related field is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
