Job description
**Optometric Assistant**
The Optometric Assistant plays a key role in preparing patients for their evaluations by conducting diagnostic assessments and recording the findings in the electronic medical record (EMR). They serve as a communication bridge between patients and physicians, oversee patient traffic, and provide support with contact lens education and insurance processes. Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in an optical or healthcare environment. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, alongside excellent customer service abilities and strong organizational skills.
