Job Summary
The Parts Sales Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the sales operations within a parts department. This position facilitates both front-counter sales and back-end order processing while ensuring optimal customer satisfaction through attentive service and expert knowledge of products.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their parts inquiries and sales needs at the front counter.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily sales targets.
- Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or business is a plus.
- Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a parts or automotive environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse clientele.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
