The Patient Service Specialist plays a key role in overseeing the patient check-in and check-out procedures, encompassing tasks such as registration, verifying insurance, and collecting payments. This position also involves offering administrative assistance to the clinical team and addressing patient questions related to billing and appointment scheduling. Applicants should showcase their skills with computer software, possess strong numerical abilities, and exhibit outstanding customer service skills. Although not mandatory, having two years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting, along with familiarity with medical terminology and insurance billing practices, is advantageous.
