Job Summary
The pharmacist plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication management through accurate prescription filling and patient education on medication therapies. This position also involves overseeing pharmacy operations, including inventory management and staff supervision, to maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities
- Accurately fill prescriptions utilizing computerized systems.
- Provide comprehensive patient education regarding pharmacotherapy.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory efficiently.
- Supervise pharmacy personnel to ensure operational excellence.
- Travel between Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and Daytona Beach for coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient interactions and staff management.
