Job description
**Job Title:** Laboratory Support Assistant
The Laboratory Support Assistant will carry out a range of clinical, office, and administrative tasks to assist the laboratory operations. This role includes processing specimens and entering data accurately. Responsibilities also involve registering patient information and documenting test results within the laboratory’s database and departmental records. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and have recently completed an accredited phlebotomy or medical laboratory assistant program, or have at least one year of relevant experience. Additionally, obtaining certification from ASCP or NCA is mandatory within one year of employment.
