Job Summary
The Imaging Services Coordinator within the Radiology Department plays a critical role in managing imaging services and ensuring a seamless workflow for both patients and staff. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of imaging quality and patient care, contributing to effective communication and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling of imaging procedures and patient appointments.
- Coordinate communication between patients, radiologists, and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Facilitate the training and onboarding of new staff within the imaging department.
- Assist in managing inventory of imaging supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare or radiology environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with imaging technologies and protocols is advantageous.
