Job Summary
The Residential Technician – Per Diem plays a vital role in providing specialized support and assistance in residential settings. This position focuses on ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for residents while addressing their individual needs and promoting overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct support to residents, fostering their independence and personal growth.
- Monitor and document resident activities and behaviors, ensuring compliance with care plans.
- Assist in the execution of daily living skills training and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to enhance resident care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide necessary interventions when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience in a residential care or similar setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and work schedules.
