Job Summary
The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering both direct and indirect care to patients in a high-pressure emergency environment. By applying the nursing process, they ensure that treatments are executed safely and effectively while closely collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in an emergency setting.
- Utilize the nursing process for safe treatment delivery.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective patient management.
- Perform triage and manage critical drips.
- Accurately document patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale.
- Previous experience in emergency nursing is preferred.
