Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for various projects. This position requires extensive expertise in electrical engineering principles and practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics and layout plans.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems to ensure quality and performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to define project requirements and establish timelines.
- Review and approve project specifications, ensuring adherence to codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Document design processes and maintain accurate project records.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in a relevant industry.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
