Job Summary
The Senior Logistician for CIWS is responsible for overseeing and managing logistics operations, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services and materials critical to mission success. This role involves collaborating with various departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall logistics strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics plans to support continuous improvement in CIWS operations.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Implement best practices in logistics management to improve performance efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in defense or government contracting environments.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with logistics software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with CIWS systems and operations is a plus.
