Job Summary
The Senior Product Manager is tasked with shaping and implementing the long-term strategy for System Health in the Android XR portfolio. This role involves overseeing resource allocation and performance metrics to ensure optimal operation. The manager will spearhead cross-departmental initiatives aimed at improving power consumption, thermal performance, and memory efficiency, while collaborating with silicon suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to produce top-tier consumer products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year strategy for System Health within the Android XR portfolio.
- Oversee budget management and the tracking of performance metrics.
- Lead efforts across various teams to enhance power, thermal, and memory efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with silicon vendors and OEMs to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years managing technical products or mobile SDKs from initial concept to launch.
- A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge of operating system internals and architectures designed for power-constrained environments.
