Job description
The role of a Set-up Welder involves the layout, fitting, alignment, and tack-welding of structural elements according to blueprints and project requirements. Responsibilities also include maintaining welding equipment and verifying that all assemblies conform to quality standards prior to final welding. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with a minimum of three years’ experience in structural fabrication or MIG welding. Strong skills in interpreting blueprints, utilizing measuring instruments, and operating shop machinery are essential.
