Job description
Job Summary
The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) is tasked with ensuring the highest quality of software applications through automated testing and development practices. This role requires a deep understanding of both software engineering and testing frameworks to drive improvements in software reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and metrics.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues through effective tests and monitoring.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and test automation tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar software testing role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
