Job Summary
The Senior IT Quality Assurance Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications within the organization. This position is focused on developing and implementing quality assurance processes, executing tests, and identifying improvement opportunities to enhance software reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases for various software applications.
- Collaborating with development teams to identify defects and ensure proper resolution.
- Conducting regression testing and performance testing to evaluate new updates.
- Documenting test results, reporting defects, and tracking issues through to resolution.
- Participating in requirement reviews to provide input on the quality of deliverables.
- Mentoring junior QA team members on best practices and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, preferably in an IT setting.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with various teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
