**Sterile Processing Specialist**
The Sterile Processing Specialist plays a critical role in evaluating and standardizing the processes associated with instruments and scopes. This position involves providing expert advice on advancements in both clinical practices and technology. Key responsibilities include formulating regional policies, executing performance audits, and establishing training programs for staff to ensure adherence to regulations and enhance operational effectiveness. Applicants should have between seven to ten years of experience in sterile processing or healthcare operations, particularly in leadership roles. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, alongside a valid Sterile Processing Distribution Technician or Registered Central Service Technician certification, is mandatory.
