Job Summary
The role of a Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) is essential for the successful execution of engineering projects. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, this onsite position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring structural integrity and compliance with engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems, focusing on truss and civil engineering structures.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to achieve project goals and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to ensure the safety and durability of structures.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports to communicate findings effectively.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
- Possession of a valid Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) license is essential.
- Strong analytical skills accompanied by practical engineering experience.
- Excellent communication capabilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
