Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for conducting comprehensive supply chain analysis to optimize operations and ensure the seamless flow of materials and products through the supply chain. This role plays a critical part in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning, collaborating with various departments to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequacy while minimizing excess.
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance and metrics.
- Implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with supply chain software and systems.
