Job description
**Surgical Technologist**
The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting nursing care and preparing for surgical procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing in for surgeries, maintaining sterile environments, and managing surgical instruments. In addition, they are tasked with keeping track of inventory, sanitizing operating rooms, and ensuring patient safety by correctly positioning patients and performing accurate counts. Applicants should possess a high school diploma and have completed a Surgical Technician training program, along with 3 to 5 years of experience across various specialties. While a Certified Surgical Technician credential is preferred, applicants must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
