Systems Support Specialist

Systems Support Specialists are responsible for being the primary Information Systems point of contact for the local office, providing user support for hardware and software issues and coordinating communication for IS projects. The position also supports network and server operations, collaborates with technical teams on troubleshooting and firm-wide initiatives, and helps identify technology solutions to improve overall system performance and user support. Systems Support Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive hardware and software support, troubleshooting, and end-to-end issue resolution for all users.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for network, systems, and voice services, coordinating with Network Engineers and Systems Support Specialists as needed.
  • Support practice technologies, remote access (email/Citrix), video conferencing, and firmwide information system projects while identifying opportunities for technology improvements and cost savings.
  • Manage service desk tickets, system updates, change controls, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Oversee information system assets, inventory, backups, equipment refresh cycles, and user training to maintain reliable, high-quality technology services.
  • Adapt to new technologies and/or new job duties as directed.

System Support Specialist Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience providing information system support to users.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application problems.
  • Resolve hardware issues with PCs, laptops and printers.
  • Network administration skills.
