Job Summary
The Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide essential support in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services across various healthcare facilities. This role involves working alongside physical therapists to assist in patient care, education, and rehabilitation activities while traveling to different locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques to aid their recovery.
- Maintain documentation of patient interactions and care procedures.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
- Travel to different healthcare facilities as directed to provide therapy services.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Active state licensure in good standing.
- Experience in a clinical environment, particularly in rehabilitation therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams.
