Job description
**Ultrasound Extern**
The Ultrasound Extern supports the execution of general, obstetric-gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound examinations under the guidance of a registered sonographer. Responsibilities include following imaging protocols, accurately documenting findings in the electronic medical records (EMR), and prioritizing patient safety. Applicants should be currently enrolled in an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program and have experience in a hospital setting. Additionally, a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
