**Youth Counselor**
The role of the Youth Counselor involves overseeing and supporting adolescents within a psychiatric setting, prioritizing their safety and overall welfare. Responsibilities include aiding clients with everyday living skills, facilitating group activities, and engaging in treatment team discussions to contribute to personalized care strategies. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or a comparable qualification along with a minimum of one year’s experience working with children or adults facing significant mental health challenges. Experience in an inpatient environment is preferred, and individuals with advanced degrees may see a reduction in the required experience duration.
