The Unit Associate is responsible for welcoming visitors, overseeing medical records, and offering administrative assistance to the nursing staff. This role includes supporting patient scheduling, gathering data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory environmental standards. A high school diploma or an associate degree is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of related experience in a hospital or medical office setting. Candidates are encouraged to have a Unit Secretary training certificate and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
