Job description
The Yard Hostler plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient handling of trailers and containers, ensuring their movement between dock doors, staging locations, and designated parking areas. This position includes conducting equipment inspections, recording the condition of trailers, and collaborating with warehouse personnel to facilitate prompt loading and unloading processes. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED along with a minimum of one year of experience in operating a yard hostler or heavy machinery. A valid driver’s license from California is necessary, and candidates must be prepared to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
