Job Summary
The Medical Lab Tech Contractor plays an essential role in operational laboratories, delivering critical support to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic testing. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills, as you will engage with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests with precision and in accordance with established protocols.
- Analyze and interpret test results, maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
- Document findings and communicate results effectively to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the training of new staff and provide guidance on laboratory procedures.
- Participate in maintaining inventory and ordering of lab supplies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS).
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory protocols and equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to changing priorities.
