Job Summary
The Flexo Press Operator plays a vital role in the production of high-quality printed materials by operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses. This position requires a keen understanding of the printing process, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure that production meets established standards for quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Setup, operate and maintain flexographic printing presses.
- Monitor printing quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure output meets specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing preferred.
- Proven experience as a Flexo Press Operator or similar role in a printing environment.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
