Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operations by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available.
- Maintain a sterile environment by properly handling surgical instruments and supplies.
- Provide support to surgeons and nurses during procedures by anticipating needs and assisting with positioning of patients.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Document all procedures and supplies used during the operation for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
