Job Summary
The CNA Hospice House Float (Part-Time) plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to hospice patients. This position involves working at various hospice locations, ensuring that each patient receives the emotional support and medical attention necessary for comfort during their end-of-life journey.
Responsibilities
- Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Assist nursing staff in monitoring patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to both patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Document and communicate any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate nature and commitment to patient-centered care.
