Job Summary
The Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering accounting services for intricate funds, which encompasses calculating net asset values as well as evaluating fund performance. This position not only demands a high level of technical expertise but also involves mentoring junior staff and overseeing complex reconciliation processes. Additionally, the Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards.
Responsibilities
- Calculate net asset values and assess fund performance for complex funds.
- Guide and support junior team members in their accounting tasks.
- Review and validate complex reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS regulations in all accounting practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience, ideally from a Big 4 accounting firm.
