Job Summary
The role of the Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) at Alpine, a prominent ITW company, focuses on providing expert guidance in building component software and related structural engineering services. The position is based onsite in Providence, Rhode Island, and requires an active SE or PE license, or one in progress, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions for various projects.
- Collaborating with architects and other engineers to assess design and performance criteria.
- Conducting analysis of structural systems and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Providing support in the development of building component software.
Qualifications
- Active Structural Engineer (SE) license, or Professional Engineer (PE) license that is currently in process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
