Job Summary
The role involves setting up and running tube laser machinery, handling materials, inspecting manufactured parts, and inputting production data into the manufacturing system. The individual will be responsible for maintaining equipment and workspace, adhering to safety protocols, collaborating on program enhancements, and achieving both production and quality targets.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate tube laser equipment.
- Manage materials and conduct inspections of finished parts.
- Enter production details into the manufacturing system.
- Maintain equipment and work areas while following established safety procedures.
- Collaborate on improvements to production programs.
- Meet specified production and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is highly desirable.
- Experience with tube lasers, CNC machines, or comparable manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Relevant experience is beneficial, but not mandatory; training is provided for mechanically inclined applicants.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills are required.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, handle materials, and lift items up to 30 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
