Job Summary
Partners of America is in search of a dedicated and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role involves preparing the necessary supplies for surgical procedures while maintaining an aseptic environment and ensuring patient safety. The CST will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams in various operating room (OR) settings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical instruments and supplies required for procedures.
- Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical operations.
- Assist in draping patients for surgery and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Count and manage surgical instruments to prevent any retained items post-surgery.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is mandatory.
- Current CPR/BCLS certification required.
- Experience in operating room settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
