Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II plays a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency of facility equipment and systems. This position involves performing routine maintenance and repairs to enhance performance and safety standards. The technician will contribute to the overall upkeep of the facility, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and that maintenance tasks are carried out effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures and system issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

- Assist with installations of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Experience in facility maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
