Job Summary
The role involves executing regular quality assessments on the production line and aiding or performing developmental engineering tests. This includes the operation and upkeep of vacuum deposition machinery, the interpretation of directives, data analysis, and troubleshooting of standard process challenges while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality checks on the production line.
- Support or lead development engineering testing activities.
- Operate and maintain vacuum deposition equipment effectively.
- Interpret instructions and analyze testing data meticulously.
- Troubleshoot and resolve standard process-related issues.
- Contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with four years of relevant technical experience, or an associate degree in engineering or a similar field with two years of applicable experience.
- Experience as a First Solar Engineering Test Support II may be considered as a substitution.
- Proficiency in testing or measurement techniques.
- Able to learn and operate equipment effectively while performing maintenance tasks.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with SQL or JMP software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
