Job Summary
We are currently in search of a dedicated Mechanical Engineer 2 to join our team in Goleta, California. This full-time role requires involvement in various phases of mechanical engineering, including the design and assembly procedures from initial concept through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural, modal, and thermal performance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing specialists.
- Participate in the development and optimization of engineering processes.
- Support the transition from design to production to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using engineering software for analysis and design.
- Equivalent experience or qualifications may be considered.
