Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. RNs are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes. They work in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and comprehensive nursing services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing assistants and other staff members.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a relevant healthcare setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required.
