**Respiratory Registered Therapist**
The Respiratory Registered Therapist is responsible for executing both standard and advanced respiratory care procedures, which encompass mechanical ventilation and patient observation, all under the supervision of a physician. Additionally, this role includes aiding in the training and development of staff, ensuring the safety and functionality of equipment, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates should possess a valid Florida State Respiratory License and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. An associate degree is mandatory, and specific certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required based on the unit assigned.
