Job Summary
The Milieu Therapist is essential in delivering patient care, leading therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, and addressing crisis scenarios as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on ensuring a secure environment for patients, documenting their progress, and providing support with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions.
- Manage and respond to crisis situations effectively.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients.
- Document and track patient progress diligently.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline, including areas such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Mandatory attainment of Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) certification within 60 days of employment.
