Job Summary
The STA Engineer is responsible for spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier quality and conducting in-depth investigations into warranty-related issues. This role serves as a crucial link between suppliers and the manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to processes and the efficient management of quality challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to improve supplier quality by implementing best practices and standards.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses for warranty claims and concerns.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between suppliers and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with processes and standards within the manufacturing plant.
- Implement effective solutions for containing and resolving quality issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree is required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in plant manufacturing is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
