Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician collaborates with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure the precise dispensing of medications and the smooth running of pharmacy operations. This role plays a critical part in meeting the needs of patients and supporting the overall effectiveness of the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications following prescription orders accurately.
- Process and resolve insurance claims efficiently.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and address their inquiries.
- Assist in managing daily pharmacy operations and workflow alongside the Pharmacy Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is essential.
- Possession of an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification must be obtained within designated time limits after employment.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations as required.
