Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is tasked with diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and carrying out proactive maintenance on equipment within the plant to minimize operational interruptions. This role also involves overseeing specialized carpentry assignments and ensuring a safe and organized workplace.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to avoid downtime.
- Coordinate and manage special carpentry projects.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Skills in welding and forklift operation.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Capacity to handle shift rotations and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
