Job Summary
The technician’s main duty is to facilitate the delivery, installation, and upkeep of medical equipment in patients’ homes while providing instruction on its proper and safe utilization. This role also involves maintaining vehicle records, managing repairs for the equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of all documentation related to their duties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and set up medical equipment at patients’ residences.
- Educate patients on the correct and safe usage of the medical equipment.
- Maintain and log vehicle records as per company requirements.
- Oversee equipment repairs to ensure all medical items function properly.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history is essential.
- Physical capability to lift weights of up to 170 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
