Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This position offers a competitive weekly salary ranging from $1,636 to $1,889 and requires on-site presence in a short-term acute care hospital. The anticipated duration of the assignment is 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are ready.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols during operations.
- Support surgeons and healthcare teams during surgeries by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
- Perform routine maintenance and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
