Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for assessing, analyzing, and organizing patient care within a 32-bed emergency department and a 12-bed clinical decision unit. This role demands collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to address a diverse array of patient issues in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and interpretations of patient conditions.
- Coordinate care in a high-volume emergency department and clinical decision unit.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to manage patient complaints.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding care plans.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions swiftly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Possession of an unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
- Authority to prescribe medications as required.
