Job Summary
This role involves delivering on-site technical assistance for warehouse operations, focusing on the resolution of issues related to workstations, scanners, printers, and network connections. The position also entails managing helpdesk requests, deploying necessary hardware, and providing support during the onboarding of new employees while ensuring thorough maintenance of inventory and asset records.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with workstations, scanners, printers, and network connectivity.
- Manage helpdesk tickets to ensure timely resolution of technical support requests.
- Deploy hardware as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Assist with employee onboarding processes by providing necessary technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and assets related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role, with a focus on Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite applications.
- Familiarity with warehouse peripherals and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including non-standard shifts as required.
