Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR) plays a vital role in supporting surgical procedures at Middle Park Medical Center in Kremmling, Colorado. This onsite position entails assisting surgical teams by ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and functioning properly, thus contributing to safe and effective patient care during surgical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during operations.
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are readily available.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support patient safety protocols before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to facilitate a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Completion of a surgical technologist training program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus during surgical procedures.
