Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine to join our nocturnal team at our Monroe, Louisiana facility. This full-time position involves providing high-quality healthcare services under the supervision of the Medical Director or an appointed physician while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment for patients in an emergency setting.
- Collaborate effectively with Physicians, nurses, and discharge coordinators to ensure coordinated care.
- Implement treatment plans and adjust them as necessary based on patient progress and needs.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning activities.
Qualifications
- A valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure or Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- Relevant clinical experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings.
- Ability to function autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient interaction.
